How To Best Use This Course

I am so happy you took the leap into flag wings!! Here's a little run down on how to utilize this course to your full potential.

Self Guided: This course is completely self guided. You can move through the videos as fast or as slow as you would like, in whatever order you like, and repeat them as often as you desire (in fact I recommend repeating the guided movement explorations and combo sequences often).

Skill Tutorials: All the tutorial/pathway videos are in order from easy to difficult (as approximate as I could get), so moving sequentially from top to bottom in this section will work best if you are brand new to flag wings.

Names in Tutorials: I use my own unique terminology and names for the skills/pathways. For some I use common names, but many were unnamed. I created terminology that made sense to me, so I will reference these unique names when teaching choreography.

Guided Movement Explorations: These are designed to unearth your unique movement language. There are a variety of videos exploring different topics like fluid footwork, speed changes, and more. I encourage you to repeat these videos often to push your edges, allowing you to access new ways of speaking through movement.

Skill Sequences: These are designed to introduce you to different transition possibilities, and help you smooth out your transitions between movements. These combos with also lock the skills into your body, so you can get out of your head and into your flow state. I recommend running these often.

Flag Wings: If you haven't already purchased a pair of flag wings, you can look to The Bamboo Closet (@thebamboocloset) or State of Flow PROPShOP (@stateofflow.propshop).

After Completion: If you'd like additional 1-on-1 guidance in your flag wing journey, I am offering a limited amount of private coaching sessions with me. Please e-mail me for more details: [email protected]

Big blessings to you on your flag wing journey. xo
